Learning About Chimorel’s
Cooperative Effort Program
Chimorel’s Cooperative Effort Program is a unique, dynamic goal setting opportunity designed to strengthen your organization and enhance your life. You can participate for free or become active and take steps to achieve meaningful goals. You unlock your opportunities as you begin to support others as they achieve their goals.
Welcome !!!
You are about to enter a business related program that can enhance your life, build your business and fund a project you are concerned about. We will consider setting goals, becoming active, making investments, supporting others and earning the right to ask others to support you.
You can afford what we offer, if you are serious enough to set a goal, develop an action plan and implement your plan.
Two Sides
There are two sides to this program. One involves attending meetings and working with others to brainstorm success strategies, learn from speakers, networking and having fun while supporting a variety of Chimorel programs. This side will become operational in your city when you and others decide to make it happen.
The other side involves activities you can do right here on the website. Work with us to create an on-line group, get involved in activities and training on our website and explore ways to support others through a variety of Chimorel programs. After you have explored this section of our website, call Warren at 614-885-0000. Let’s talk about working cooperatively in your neck of the woods. When we say something about attending a meeting and there are not meetings in your area yet, consider this an invitation to establish an on-line group and to form a program in your city.
Tips
Chimorel’s Cooperative Effort program operates at a number of levels. If you bounce around, you may find this complexity confusing. We suggest you just follow the step by step path we lay out for you scrolling down this section.
It will take time to explore all of your opportunities in the Cooperative Effort program and in all the other areas available on this website. We suggest you explore the Cooperative Effort program completely. Go as far as time permits, then come back to where you left off and continue to learn and explore.
As you dig deeper into our Cooperative Effort program you will discover opportunities to significantly enhance your life, but you must actually get involved.
Levels of Involvement
- As a Participant most of your experience will be service opportunities, essentially an investment of time not cash, but you may buy meals at meetings.
- As an Active Member there will be a modest cost and service opportunities.
- Higher Levels can range from service opportunities to $5000+/yr.
- Service Opportunities are essentially voluntary effort which enable you to earn memberships, pay fees by helping Chimorel and earn the right to ask others to support you.
- Education and training is essentially free at the beginning. You attend meetings and explore the website. From time to time we may offer more comprehensive trainings with a cost.
- Coaching ranges around $300+/hr, but can be reduced by long term contracts and service involvement.
- Working with Chimorel opens a whole world full of opportunities to support others.
Setting Goals
Participant: When you come to your first meeting or as you explore this website, you will be asked to set your first goal. Like a New Year’s resolution, setting a goal is only the first step. Did you support someone to achieve their goal? Did you ask them to support you to achieve your goal? Are you ready to get serious as an active member, instead of remaining a participant?
Starter member: You become Active with a Starter membership. Your Starter membership enables you to set and reality test your first goal and provides limited group coaching. It also opens the door to our Scrip program. Quickly, you want to develop an action plan and implement your plan to achieve your first goal. The Scrip program gives you one of more than 100 ways to fund your goal.
Action Planner: Get serious. Get involved. Make things happen. As a Starter member you automatically upgrade to an Action Planning membership as you stay involved, respond to our emails, support others and take one or more roles in the Cooperative Effort program. You can earn your Action Planning and Higher Level memberships. You can renew your annual membership with steps you take to build Chimorel. Developing and implementing an action plan is how you actually achieve your goals.
Our Goals
Our goal for you is to give you a 100+% return on your investment in Chimorel. Your investments may include the cost of various levels of membership, cooperative advertising, and time you spend helping Chimorel and other participants. It is important for you to realize, that your return is generated by what you do, not by what someone else does. You control the reality of your 100+% return.
Our goal for Chimorel is to develop a constantly expanding network of competent individuals and companies with a high degree of integrity who can enable us to solve the problems and achieve the goals for the individuals, businesses and nonprofit groups who become our clients. We believe that if you are truly motivated we can support you to solve any problem or achieve any goal that is important enough for you to develop the required resources. Being able to support thousands of people translates into a very broad network of competent people who have a high degree of integrity.
As you achieve our goal for you, you will build your business and enhance your life. As you enable us to achieve our goal, together we will support many as they build their businesses, enhance their lives and enable the people in each country to be more viable.
Your Investment
You will make a cash investment to become a Starter Member. As you stay involved, you will quickly make additional investments of cash or service to become an Action Planner. Let’s say you invest $250. If you achieve our goal for you, you would turn this investment” into $500+ in increased revenue or value in your life. Once you have made your initial investment, much of your additional investments may be things you do (or should be doing) already. These things can include cooperative advertising, collecting business cards, going to networking events and networking with others on-line.
Your investments might also involve things like donating computers, becoming a servant leader in our program, inviting people to meetings, developing our on-line group, selling memberships, becoming a Resource Developer and much more. You might browse our website, become a voting member or enter a program. Many of these “investments” are what we call Service Opportunities.
Your real investment starts when you ask another member, “How can I support you?” “What can I do to build your business?” “Who can I introduce to you?” “Can I assist you to close a sale?” “Can I make calls for myself, keeping in mind prospects for you?” “Can I bring someone to a meeting that can support you?” “Can I help you find a job?” “Can I assist you to solve a problem?” “Can I listen when you are struggling?” “Can I buy what you sell?” Now ask “How do I earn a return on my investment?”
Once you genuinely support someone else, you have earned the right to ask them to support you !!! If you wait for someone to support you first, your results will come more slowly. Active members and our Director will offer to support you, but your proactive first step is much more likely to create an investment with a real return.
We will not track the initial investments you make nor the returns you earn directly. At some point, however, it may be obvious you are not investing in Chimorel and you could loose your Active status. As you begin to take on certain responsibilities at Chimorel and make real investments, we will actively work with you to assure you a good return. Your real investment is not the time you spend, but how you use the time you spend to genuinely support someone else. If I strengthen your business or solve a problem, I earn the right to ask you to support building my business or solve my problem. As you support others, send us an email at the link on contact us. We will find ways to support you.
When you take active steps to build Chimorel, we will respond with many rewards and benefits. Some of the ways you can support Chimorel will be to develop lists, make calls, send emails, invite people to meetings and take on specific responsibilities. Some of your responsibilities could include being an Action Leader; joining the Welcoming or New Member Committees or being a Registration person, Speaker or Coordinator. You can be a Cooperative Advertiser. You can be a Marketing Coordinator. You can be an Advertising Representative or Manager. You can be a Benefits Representative or Manager. All of these opportunities earn rewards. Some are paid positions with Chimorel.
Benefits
Some initial benefits you might earn include lead lists, networking opportunities, assistance closing sales, training in specific areas, advertising savings and opportunities, office space, as well as, affiliate relationships and income. You might earn income directly by selling advertising, making calls, finding computer donations and marketing Chimorel programs. During an Action Planning Interview, you want to determine the benefits you want to earn.
Eventually your benefits might include short-term disability, cancer, accident, dental, child/dependent care, a medical savings account, prepaid legal, identity theft, tuition/scholarships, major medical, long-term care, life insurance, prescription drugs, a 401(k), other retirement programs and other programs as you become a Resource Developer, Chimorel employee or Affiliate.
You become Active when you (1) become a member and (2) set at least one goal. You stay active when you (3) develop a Chimorel Action Plan to achieve your goal and (4) demonstrate competence and integrity with other members.
You should expect to invest at least 10 hours per month supporting others, thus earning the right to ask others to support you. You will make cash and service investments. As you stay involved, you will automatically move to higher level memberships, depending on your needs and involvement.
You start the process to enter Higher Active levels when you schedule your first Goal Setting Interview. You will set at least one goal and test this goal against reality. You will move on to develop a solid action plan. We will ask you “If we support you, what will you do?” You will be invited to introduce others to the program, attend meetings, develop lists, contact people, and consider higher levels of involvement. You can bring friends to meetings, work with others to create our on-line group, make referrals, support others, and they can assist you to build your business. We suspect this is pretty easy stuff for a competent business person. We do expect you to demonstrate your competence and integrity by doing what you say you will do. When you do what you say you will do, you might be amazed at how well being genuinely active will grow your business and enhance your life.
Why become Active? Active Members enjoy many benefits. You can review these benefits in the Investment section above. Perhaps the most important benefit is setting and achieving goals.
Active members can participate in our cooperative advertising program as it develops. When implemented in your area, this program can save money on your advertising efforts. Active members can increase their revenue as an affiliate or Resource Developer. Active members can strengthen their business, fund projects and enhance their lives as they enter Higher Levels.
The Most Important Reason: We believe the most important reason to be Active is to serve others. Once again, when you support someone else, you earn the right to ask them to support you.
Active Membership
A Starter Annual Membership starts you on your way as an Active Member. We will support you as you set and reality test at least one goal. Most likely you will pay the initial fee in cash, although it is possible to earn this fee through our Client Assistance program.
By staying involved, you will automatically step up to an Action Planning Membership where you develop an Action Plan, through a structured program or informally. You structure a program by paying the balance. Informally you introduce new members or work with Chimorel.
A Cash Paid Action Planning Membership entitles you to earn an enrollment fee each time you introduce a new Cash Starter Member and each time you introduce a new Business Member. If you earn your Action Planning membership with service, you can become a cash paid Action Planner, by introducing five Cash Paid Action Planners.
You move to a higher level Business Membership to receive a variety of benefits will learn about as you explore Higher level involvement. Nonprofit groups can get these same benefits by becoming a Business member or lesser benefits with a Nonprofit membership.
As you stay involved you progress to a Lifetime Membership. Your Lifetime membership can be for an individual or for an organization. You can learn more about Lifetime Memberships at this link.
Set at Least One Goal
Of course, setting a goal is not the same as achieving a goal. First you set a goal, then you test it against reality. Then you develop an action plan. Then you implement your plan. If something does not work, test reality again and make the appropriate changes. Staying Active moves you through these steps. Soon you will be supporting others, taking on specific Chimorel responsibilities, enrolling new members and achieving your goal.
The burden of implementation is on you. We will support you, but you must decide and take the steps necessary. Of course, once you achieve your first goal, why stop there? Step up to a Five Goal Program, 735 Plan, 2100 Plan or a 5000 Plan. You might become a Chimorel Resource Developer and eventually support hundreds of people to achieve their goals. How far you go is up to you !!!
You set a goal with an action verb, a dollar amount and a time frame. When you seek support from others, you could also include an equivalent phrase. For example, I want to increase my income by $10,000 this year, equivalent to ten more clients.
Setting and Achieving Goals
Setting and achieving goals at Chimorel is a relatively easy process. At the beginning, just get to know another Active Member. Discuss your goals, your life purpose and what is important to you. Ask that member about his/her goal(s). Support the member and ask for their support. Perhaps you do this with several members and build a base of support. If you need ten new clients, could the new member be one of them or refer you to someone who will be?
Then tell us about what you are doing. Perhaps we will have a suggestion or two. Explore all the ways we and our members provide support – from developing lists to actually assisting you with a sale.
Once again, we want you to actually achieve at least one specific goal as a result of becoming Active with Chimorel. This starts with your action plan.
Briefly an Action Plan is a series of command statements you design, telling you what actions you need to do to achieve your goal. If you develop and implement a good Action Plan for a realistic goal, you will achieve your goal. We discuss action planning more completely in the Goal Setting area of our website. At the top of most screens is a Set Goal tab to enter this area.Clicking the link above will take you directly to Developing an Action Plan discussion and examples. You will leave this section. Close to return.
Demonstrate Competence and Integrity
You will soon learn that integrity is a “big deal” at Chimorel. You may want to review the Uncommon Sense article under Forms.
Caution: If at some point we learn you are not treating other members as you would like them to treat you, we will have a serious discussion about the situation and decide what should happen next.
Part of integrity is to know what you are able to do and what you are not able to do. Each member should be able to rely on your competent ability to do what you say you will do.
You will make investments like $75, $250, $500, perhaps even $5000+. These cash investments buy you memberships, advertising, coaching and a variety of other things. Each investment can be applied to a higher level, thus $75 can be applied to $250, for an actual additional investment of $175.
A cash paid member, can earn enrollment and other fees like $25, $50, $100 and $500+ for each activity that generates revenue and supports someone else. These revenue generation activities are one way we enable you to earn a 100+% return on your investment. We have both memberships and programs which enable you to generate revenue. This can be a part-time activity to supplement your current job or business or it could become your full-time career. There are training requirements to market memberships and programs in which you do not participate.
We put a value on things you do to support others. This value can be considered a service activity, earning Chimorel Bucks, which may also be applied to higher level memberships and programs. Here is a brief list of service activities and their value. Some of these activities could actually generate cash for you. The value for most activities is a volunteer activity which you might apply to higher level memberships and programs, but which may not generate cash for you. As we discussed earlier, we will not create an account to track your activities. That is your job. But when appropriate, an accounting can be made.
$5 each meeting you attend and actively participate with.
$5 sending new participants to a meeting you do not attend.
$5 Tell us about some one you support.
$5 50 new contacts provided in an Excel spreadsheet.
$10 Ten new contacts you work with us to invite to meetings from a spreadsheet you provide.
$10 bringing a new participant to a meeting you attend.
$10 enrolling new Starter members.
$20 enrolling new Action Planners.
$25+ being a Speaker at a meeting.
$25+ Document something significant you do to support someone.
$25+ Someone sends us an email describing how you supported them.
$50 enrolling new Business members.
Please note, the values above are NOT cash payments, they are what we call Chimorel Bucks or Incentives. They have a value which can be exchanged for a variety of memberships, programs and services Chimorel offers. At the beginning, you must keep track of the value you provide. At the time of the exchange, we will verify what you actually did.
Invest 10 hours/mo.
You probably won’t get much out of Chimorel’s Cooperative Effort Program if you only come to a meeting once in a while or maybe join our on-line group and hope someone will contact you. Don’t expect something “miraculous” to happen. By now you should know that the best way to achieve your goals is to support someone else and earn the right to ask that person to support you in return.
We expect you to invest at least ten hours each month doing things to support others. Much of the time you spend can be done doing things you already do, keeping in mind supporting others through Chimorel. Here are two examples:
Example 1: You go to another networking meeting and collect some cards. Each time you get a card you say “Have you heard about Chimorel’s Cooperative Effort Program? How about if we send you an invitation to our next meeting? You might give a little pep talk using some of the Talking Points you’ll discover later. Then you actually give these cards to Warren or email the name, phone, email and reason to contact to us.
Example 2: You need a list of people to contact and “buy” or “earn” a list from Chimorel. Then when you are calling you invite people to a meeting, forward an invitation to at least ten people each week with a cc or bcc to us.
If meetings are not happening in the area where you live, assist in creating our on-line group. When there are enough participants in your area, you and they can set up meetings using the guidelines you will discover soon.
When you begin your Goal Setting Interviews we will discuss many ways to support others through your ten hour per month time investment, but one of the best ways is to buy something another member sells or make a referral who buys something. If you are not in an area where meetings have been established, we will conduct your interview by phone or Zoom.
Caution!
Spending 10 hours talking to someone, is not the same as investing ten hours supporting someone to achieve a realistic goal. You want to make real investments that can produce real returns.
You also want to evaluate the ability and motivation of the person you are supporting. Can and will they give you a real return on the time you spend supporting them. This doesn’t mean, don’t help someone who can’t give you an immediate payback. It does mean, carefully evaluate whether or not they listen and do what you suggest. Don’t squander a lot of time trying to get unmotivated people to change.
Once again, you control the results of the time you spend. Supporting someone who is motivated can always be productive. It may not give you a $-4-$ payback, but supporting people as they change their lives can be rewarding in and of itself. Idle talk and wasting time with unmotivated people is not usually rewarding and is likely to be expensive in terms of time and money. If you want a real return, spend your time productively.
Goal Setting Interview
As you become an Action Planner, you enter our Goal Setting Program. This program offers you a series of Goal Setting Interviews designed to help you set a goal, reality test your goal, and develop an Action Plan to achieve your goal.
You also receive some initial assistance to implement your goal and can continue implementation assistance as you move on to higher levels of our programs. During these interviews you should begin to review many strategies or tasks which involve Chimorel and supporting others. We will invite you to assume specific responsibilities at Chimorel. The Goal Setting interviews may be with a group or individually.
